Josh K. Elliott

Josh Elliott is a Toronto writer and former journalist whose fiction explores what people carry through hardship—and what they become afterward.

Over more than a decade in journalism, Josh reported, wrote and edited thousands of Canadian news and feature stories for CTV News, Global News and Narcity. His work ranged from conflict, climate and disaster to science, film and popular culture. He also interviewed actors, directors and writers about the craft behind their work.

Josh holds a master’s degree in journalism from Western University. He studied English and Creative Writing at York University, where his courses also took him deep into film, culture and comic books.
